Tim Van Gerven's passion is for the Church both globally as well as locally. He has served in youth ministry for many years. As well as worked with Traction Teams leading short term mission trips in Ukraine. While abroad in Ukraine doing short term trips, Tim led blended teams made up of foreigners and nationals. The purpose of these trips was for training in evangelism and spiritual development, all the while helping new churches gain traction using outreach and in reach.
Tim is a teacher who has a heart for church planting and missions; with a passion for reaching those who have been hurt by the church or who don't feel they are "good enough" to ever enter a church.
Tim's view on Church leadership is that Jesus is the Senior Pastor of His Church and he is just one of the supporting servants along with other gifted men and women who together fulfill the complete ministry of Jesus to the Church and community around them. He loves raising up the next generation, allowing people a safe space to "play" in the ministry. With the end result...to give the best away and make the Name and Renown of Jesus known.

Tim is a bi-vocational church planter living in Tyler, Texas with his wife Heather and their three young children.
